We’re Karim and Psalm, the Moroccan-American couple who founded El Lamrani Tours. Karim is Moroccan, grew up in Tinghir and knows every road, village and custom. Psalm is American and knows exactly what makes a trip comfortable. Together, we plan a seamless, stress-free journey just for you and we drive you ourselves.

Karim was born and raised in Tinghir and his Father worked in tourism so he has been around people from different cultures and driven these mountain and desert roads his whole life. He knows the customs, the best local spots and how to show people the real Morocco. Psalm is American and knows the comforts travelers from home expect, from clear communication to the little details that make a long day easy.

The 8-day journey is a guest favorite. You have eight days with endless landscapes, from desert roads and Sahara dunes to the lush green north. We go at a slow, easy pace and take care of everything from your arrival to your departure, so your only job is to enjoy.
Your journey begins with a private pickup at Casablanca airport and a relaxed drive to Marrakech, where you'll spend two nights exploring the souks, palaces and gardens at your own pace. From there, we cross the High Atlas Mountains to the famous kasbah village of Aït Ben Haddou, continuing past the Rose Valley to Dades. The next day takes you through the towering Todra Gorge and the palm oasis of Tinghir before reaching the Sahara, where a sunset camel ride and dinner under the stars await at a luxury desert camp. Heading north, you'll follow the Ziz Valley to Midelt, then wind through the cedar forest, home to wild Barbary macaques (monkeys), and the alpine town of Ifrane, known as the "Switzerland of Morocco," before arriving in Fes. After two nights in Fes exploring the world's largest car-free medina, famous for leather making among many other things, we'll drive you back to Casablanca airport for your flight home, with every detail taken care of along the way.

On this journey, we pick you up from your hotel in Marrakesh and head towards the High Atlas mountains, Ait Benhaddou and sleep at a beautiful hotel in the Dades Valley. The next morning we make our way towards the Todra Gorge and then to the Sahara for one night in a luxury desert camp. The next morning we make our way back to Marrakesh and drop you off at your hotel.

One night hotel, One night luxury desert camp
We pick you up directly from your hotel in Marrakesh and drive through the high Atlas Mountains, we visit Ait Benhaddou and head to Tinghir to your beautiful hotel for the night. The next morning we visit the Tinghir Oasis, Todra Gorge and head to the Sahara. We spend a relaxing and slow paced two nights in the Sahara at your luxury desert camp. We then make our way back to marrakesh with a night in the Dades Valley. The next morning we head back to marrakesh to bring you to your Hotel.
With this journey you can enjoy a slower pace, beautiful landscapes and a relaxing full day and two nights in the Sahara.

Every tour is private and slow paced so we can adjust the pace, add stops or extra nights anywhere along the route. Want longer in a specific city? Add an extra night. Flying from a different airport? We’ll adapt the route or make the trip longer/shorter to fit your plans.
